Plans, GST invoices and paying by bank transfer

How plan payments, invoices and proforma invoices work.

Updated Oct 21, 2026 · 2 min read

Plans are per journal, paid yearly in advance, and never renew automatically. Prices are shown without GST. Paying, changing the plan and invoices are for the account holder, the person who ordered JournalEnv and pays for the plan; the rest of the team sees who that is instead.

Where to find billing

  • Billing & plans (in the menu under your name) shows every journal you are the account holder for: its plan, what is due, the next renewal and all invoices.
  • Journal settings → Plan & billing shows one journal's plan, the plans you can buy, and its billing details.

Paying

On Plan & billing, click Buy, Upgrade or Renew for 1 year, or Continue to payment for a plan you chose when ordering. You see an order summary with GST, then choose:

  • Pay online — UPI, card or net banking; the plan is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed, or
  • Pay by bank transfer — pay to the account shown, quoting the order reference, then click I have paid — enter the reference and enter the UTR. We activate the plan within one working day of receiving the money.

Need approval from your accounts office first? On the payment page, click Download proforma invoice (PDF).

GST invoices

Your GST tax invoice is issued by Altechmind Technologies (OPC) Private Limited after the payment is confirmed, usually within a few minutes, and we email you when it is ready. Open it from Billing & plans or Plan & billing, or in your Altechmind account at my.altechmind.com. It shows CGST + SGST when your place of supply is West Bengal, IGST for other states, and your GSTIN if you gave one. Customers outside India are invoiced as an export of services under LUT, without GST.

The invoice is made out to the billing details in your Altechmind account: the legal name, GSTIN, state, country and billing email shown greyed on the billing form come from there and are changed in your Altechmind account. Issued invoices cannot be changed.

Refunds are covered in Refunds and credit notes.
